Students from Assam Engineering College visit Assam Startup – the nest as part of Academia Connect Program

Assam Startup – the nest hosted 25 students from Assam Engineering College on June 06, 2023. While the COO of Assam Startup and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, Mr. Pranjal Konwar, took command to acquaint the young visitors with the journey of Assam Startup to date, the Managing Director of AIIDC, Mr. Chinmoy Phukan, especially came down to meet the students and assure the students of the state government’s support in realizing their startup aspirations.

“Assam Startup is here for people like you. This is the place where you can share your ideas and build your ideas. Make yourself feel at home. We are your friends. And we must have a free flow of communication,” Mr. Phukan said.

The founders of two incubated startups, Ratan Ghimire (Founder, Encamp Adventures) and Gunajit Brahma (Co-Founder, Farmeasy Technologies) also joined the party as they shared about their entrepreneurial journey – the challenges they faced, the failures they had to deal with and the measures they adopted to navigate the hurdles and transform their ideas into scalable and sustainable startup ventures.

These visits are facilitated by Assam Startup as part of its Academia Connect program to motivate the youth toward entrepreneurship and help them take the big step, assuring them of end-to-end support in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
