The startup aims at promoting waste management and product recycling for creating utility products and contribute towards skill development and employment generation for sustainable growth of the nation.

Given the fact that waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment, recycling is the urgent need of the hour. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from the trash in landfill sites. Recycling helps to reduce the pollution caused by waste and reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests could be preserved.

Planet Green is dedicated to creating home décor items and experiential outdoor designs out of waste for a greener and environment-friendly lifestyle. The startup currently offers premium drum sofa, tyre comfort chairs and table, recycled flower pots, customized cafe decor, park designs and outdoor landscaping.

The startup follows a direct sales model, addressing a Pan India market.

Planet Green started their journey with a beautification project for a park in front of the DC Office Dibrugarh. Since then, they have done landscaping for a number of public parks and accomplished decor projects for apartments and cafetarias. The startup is currently engaged in a cleaning and beautification drive in the Dibrugarh town in Assam and also has a few projects lined up in Guwahati and Kaziranga. Since its inception, Planet Green has generated around Rs. 12 lakhs.
