The startup aims at leveraging the unique bio resources of the NER and create premium personal care, wellness and naturopathy products from the region while establishing sustainable harvesting and preservation protocols.

Market Need

The wellness market in India is pegged at over Rs 18000 Cr annual with Natural & Good For You segment comprising as much as 25%. This segment is fast growing and customer acceptability of Natural & Good For You products are fast eating into the market share of similar products made from non herbal compositions. On the other hand, India’s North East has over 50% of the country’s biodiversity and is home to many rare medicinal herbs.

Product/Service description

One Biocare is dedicated to developing 100% natural, personal grooming and wellness products. The startup works with key ingredients like lakadong turmeric extract, polyphenols from organic green tea, aromatic oils from Tezpur litchi and Khasi Mandarin, and spring water derivatives to develop quintessential herbal products. The team has so far developed three product ranges in the sectors of herbal pain relief, mosquito repellant and personal care.

Revenue Model

The startup plans for a Pan India product distribution with B2B, B2C and B2G targets, selling across multi channel stores, institutional and online platforms.
