The networking event, NEST CONNECT, receives a phenomenal response

Assam Startup and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park organized NEST CONNECT – a one-of-its-kind networking event at The Nest on August 13, 2022. Around 150 startup founders, service providers, job seekers and interns presented themselves to a jam-packed house that included seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts like Prasanta Kumar Talukdar, Assistant General Manager (Investment), NEDFi Venture Capital Limited; Pranta Pratim Singha, Chief Manager, Corporate Planning, Numaligarh Refinery Limited; Abhijit Bhuyan, Managing Director & Co-Founder, Bohniman Systems Pvt. Ltd.; and Rishi Baruah, Director, Asomiya Pratidin & Pratidin Time.

The event led to a few first-level discussions for collaborations among the beneficiaries – an objective that the program strived to fulfill. A few startups also succeeded in rousing an investor’s interest during the program.

NEST CONNECT was the outcome of the realization of the need for a common platform for the stakeholders in the startup ecosystem to establish a positive symbiosis.

NEST CONNECT served as that much-needed common platform for the startups as well as for every resource holding potential for association with the startups, to present themselves, interact among themselves and deliberate over the scope of involvement. The platform hosted startups (incubated and non-incubated), startup aspirants and enthusiasts, HNIs, investors, corporates, service experts and potential employees/interns.

Given the overwhelming response received for the event, we have decided to come back with the second edition of NEST CONNECT soon.
