Impact Lecture Series: Biswanath College

Assam Startup organized a 2-day program, “Impact Lecture Series” at Biswanath College in the Sonitpur district of Assam on 21 & 22 October 2021.

A knowledge and awareness series on entrepreneurship, the program offered the students a basic perspective on startup and entrepreneurship, which helped in instilling confidence in them to think of starting their own venture in the future.

Officials from Assam Startup and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park further familiarised the students with Assam Startup and how they can get support from the state-owned incubator in their entrepreneurial journey.

Four established startup founders from Assam narrated their stories of the initial struggles and their eventual success, to the students present during the 2-day program. Their stories inspired the students to give serious thought to entrepreneurship as a career option and injected in them a belief, “If they can, so can I.”
