Students of Assam down town University visit Assam Startup-The Nest

Around 50 students of Assam down town University visited Assam Startup-The Nest as a part of the Academia Connect program on May 29, 2023.

An official from IIM Calcutta Innovation Park took charge to give the students a comprehensive introduction to the Assam Startup initiative. The official further enlightened the students about the intricacies of entrepreneurship and how Assam Startup can help fledgling entrepreneurs pursue their startup aspirations

The highlight of the program was an engaging activity introduced to help the students hone their problem-identification skills and problem-solving acumen. The students were asked to identify certain pressing prevailing in society. After compiling a list of 10 problems, the students were divided into 5 groups. Each group was assigned a problem from the list and was asked to brainstorm and come up with innovative ideas to solve the problem. The activity was expected to help students bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, equipping them with the necessary skills to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.
