Assam Startup – The Nest organized an eco-friendly pre-Diwali celebrations with the kids of Child Friendly Guwahati, an NGO aimed at ensuring child rights to the children of Guwahati through various motivational centres, recreational and learning centres for school dropout children.

20 children from the underprivileged section of society, rehabilitated by Child Friendly Guwahati, were invited to celebrate Diwali with the incubated startups at The Nest on 25 October.

Almost every startup had contributed with gifts and refreshments for the little visitors. One highlight was the distribution of sandalwood saplings among the children on behalf of the startups at The Nest.
