Workshop on Business Plan Development concludes at The Nest

 

A 2-day workshop on Business Plan Development was conducted at The Nest on 12 and 13 July’19.

A part of the capacity building initiative, the workshop was chiefly designed for the startups incubated at The Nest and was addressed by experts like Dr. Subhrangshu Sanyal, CEO, IIMCIP; Chandradeep Mitra, Mentor, IIMCIP; Vikram Duggal, Mentor, IIMCIP; Devashis Gupta, Mentor, IIMCIP; Suman Mukhopadhyay, Mentor, IIMCIP; and Gaurav Kapoor, Mentor, IIMCIP.

Day 1 began with an insightful session by Dr. Subhrangshu Sanyal, examining the step-by-step norms of writing a standard business plan. The second half of the day was dedicated to a thorough group mentoring session with special focus on charting out a detailed business plan.

Day 2 saw the startups pitch their ventures before the mentors followed by practical feedback from the latter. The afternoon session began with a resourceful presentation by Chandradeep Mitra on the art of attracting and retaining customers. The 2-day workshop concluded with another group mentoring session, addressing the vested queries of the startups.
